WalkMe Integration

Overview

CloudCenter uses the WalkMe platform to aid in your use of the CCM UI. Guidance tools such as pop-ups, notifications, and other calls to action guide you through the processing of your deployment information.

When you first log in as the administrator, the Welcome to CliQr's CloudCenter! banner displays and provides an overview of the required procedure for set-up:

WalkMe provides the user engagement tool, How can we help you?, that enables you to access multiple walk through flows.

You can scroll through the drop down menu of topics, click on a relevant subject from the available list, and launch a walk through for more information.

You can access the Tasks tab to view the status of your required tasks.

Disabling WalkMe

You cannot disable WalkMe from the CCM UI. You can only do so from the CCM API as described in this section.

To disable WalkMe, follow this procedure.

  1. Use the following APIs to retrieve some basic information:

    You can override the default property as a ROOT Admin or a Tenant Admin. Either way, your login credentials determine if you are an admin (platform (root), tenant admin, or co-admin) or a user. See CloudCenter API Overview > Who Can Use CloudCenter APIs? for additional context.

    1. Use the View Tenants API for your current tenant to determine your Tenant ID:

      1. Provide the additional vendorId for a ROOT admin

      2. Just the tenantId is sufficient for a Tenant Admin

    2. Use the View All Tenant Properties API to determine the propertyId for the required Property name (propertyName) for this password-based authentication (disable.walkme.help) setting, which has an ID of 32.

  2. Use the Create Tenant Properties Override API to override the default (enabled) setting for the disable.walkme.help property name with a propertyId of 32.

    POST API Request
    https://<HOST>:<PORT>/v1/tenantProperties/override
    ROOT Admin – Request Body
    {
       "propertyId":"32",
       "vendorId":"2",
       "propertyValue":"true"
    }
    Tenant Admin – Request Body
    {
       "propertyId":"32",
       "propertyValue":"true"
    }

    You have now overridden the default WalkMe behavior in order to disable WalkMe on a per-tenant basis.
