CloudCenter 4.8 has reached End of Life (EOL) as of November 14, 2018. See End of Support Notices for additional context.

Deployment Details

Applications are deployed on the cloud by submitting jobs. As part of the deployment, VMs are launched on the cloud with services initialized as specified in the application definition.

View Runs

When you launch an application, the corresponding job details for each run are displayed on a per-instance basis in the Deployments > Application Deployments page in the CCM UI. Filter the list based on the Deployment state or by Application. You can resize the displayed columns without changing the size of your browser window.

When you add new deployments, be sure to assign unique names to each deployment, regardless of the state of the application (for example, already deployed, terminated, not terminated and so forth).

Favorite Deployments

Mark any job/deployment as a favorite by clicking the star icon next to the job/deployment. All favorite jobs and deployments are listed in The Dashboard tab under the  Favorite Deployments section.

See UI Behavior for additional context.

Deployment Details

The Cloud Name and Cloud Account details are displayed for each tier in the deployment.

When using the multi-account feature, users deal with multiple accounts for a single deployment and can view the account information for every tier in the Job Details page.

Click on any deployment listed in the Applications Deployments page to view the Deployment Details for that job run.

You can also view the Deployment Details by selecting the Show Deployments option in the dropdown list for the required Application.

Sharing Deployments

Deployments can be shared with users who use SSH/VNC to allow access to the VMs.

Anyone with Manage access for a deployment can Share that deployment with another user.

For example, if User X has share permissions, then (s)he can view the shared deployment if permitted (based on the deployment environment Permission Control) and access the VMs using web-based SSH/VNC.

NICs and Node Details

You can view the NICs with their networks, Private IP and Public IP either using the GUI and the REST API.
