Supported Operating Systems
Overview
Base OS images refer to Linux and Microsoft Windows cloud images on which you install CloudCenter components. These virtual base images comprise of the underlying operating system and any operations tools that are required or referenced by services.
Base OS Images (also referred to as Worker images) are only required for clouds that do not support dynamic bootstrapping. Some clouds do not support dynamic bootstrapping and will require base Operating System (OS) image preparation. The tables in this section identify a complete list of images provided by Cisco for each cloud and OS.
OS Version Column
This page provides a list of image and support details for all clouds supported by CloudCenter. Cisco provides images for the two latest versions.

Dynamic Bootstrapping
If the CloudCenter platform supports bootstrapping, then the Dynamic Bootstrapping column identifies the status for that OS as Supported to indicate that CloudCenter detects a missing agent and automatically pushes the agent to the VMs at provisioning time. See Dynamic Bootstrapping for additional context.
